Jade asks: how many pictures do you think we took to get one decent family photo in her caption? And we can relate, there's certainly no magic formula for us to get everyone looking the same way, at the same time!

DJ Khaled

Typically, we're used to hearing DJ Khaled in the charts rather than in a matching Christmas snap, however, how absolutely adorable is this lovely family snap of DJ Khaled with his loved ones? The matching tartan pyjamas with the festive red, black, and grey is so sweet.

What makes this photo feel extra authentic for us is the toys strewn around the family. It makes it feel so much more natural and like it could've been taken in our living room. Although our houses aren't quite as fancy as DJ Khaled's…

How adorable is baby Charlie in his super festive Christmas hat? If your little one is very young and you're looking for a newborn Christmas outfit that isn't too restrictive, then instead of an outfit, opting for accessories like little booties or a hat could be perfect for you! This way, they still get into the festive spirit and join in with the magic, but they have the freedom to move around.

We think Charlie looks lovely and snug in his hat!

We love pretty much everything about this festive snap, from Shay and Matte's retro 70s styling to baby Atlas snoozing through the holiday photo! We think she just looks adorable curled up in the Christmas red romper and white headband, and she's just so sweet. Is there anything more festive than a Christmas Day nap? Trust Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to make a Christmas portrait look like they're about to walk down the runway at Fashion Week! And as they were on their way to the annual Kardashian-Jenner holiday party, they essentially were! Although they've not opted for any of the traditional Christmas colours, there's still a theme in their holiday snap. Plus, how cute is baby Psalm in his adorable velvet romper? He looks so sweet in the brown velvet.

So, if you're looking for the go-ahead to create your own high-fashion Christmas with your runway-ready family, then Kim and Kanye could inspire your baby Christmas outfit for this year!

With their little ones, Eva Marcille and her husband Michael Sterling have opted for a less traditional baby Christmas outfit. The family have gone for a denim and blue colour theme and look absolutely adorable all co-ordinated. Even baby Maverick is part of the gang with his tiny pair of jeans!

So, if you were thinking of something less traditional for your baby Christmas outfit, but you still wanted to match as a family (or not!), then maybe you could go for a similar look. The great thing about not choosing something so obviously festive is that the baby will get a bit more wear out of it and can wear it for a few more occasions than just the big day.

Another take on matching Christmas outfits, Italia Ricci and husband, Robbie Amell, fit their son, baby Robert, in these adorable, speckled pyjamas. There's something so special and magical about a first Christmas, and meeting Father Christmas is all tied up in that. And it looks like meeting the big guy went down with Michael Phelps' little ones, as even little Maverick seems happy to be with Santa!

The three boys are all in matching romper suits, and they're so cute in their green and white festive suits!

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have opted for the not matching look, and instead, the family are all dressed up in their holiday best with smiling faces to match!

We are only slightly jealous of their impressive Christmas tree and the stunning wreath wrapped around the bannister. Can they please come and decorate our houses this year?

So, there you have it, our round-up of 24 of the most adorable baby outfit ideas to inspire you to choose your very own baby Christmas outfit!

How to choose your baby's first Christmas outfit

Celebrating a baby's first Christmas is a fun and exciting time! And there are so many new experiences for your baby at Christmas, plus if you're a first-time parent, then you get the joy of experiencing their first Christmas through their eyes. However, as well as the fun and festivities, your baby needs to be comfortable throughout the day too. But there's no reason that your adorable baby Christmas costume or outfit can't be cute and cosy.

As we saw in the round-up, there are so many precious Christmas outfits that you can dress your baby in for their first Christmas, from matching Christmas jumpers for everyone in the family to an Elf themed romper; your baby will look the part! Whilst some families love to dress up in their fanciest clothes on Christmas Day, others opt for comfy pyjamas, so remember the choice is entirely yours and what you think is best for the baby.

If you're feeling inspired by our round-up, but you're struggling to choose an outfit for baby's first Christmas, these top tips should help!

Consider the season and what weather will be like for Christmas day

Although we're all dreaming of a white Christmas, that hasn't quite been the case over the last few years, and we've even had a few milder Christmases. So, consider if you're prepared for if the weather is mild or if it will be cold? If so, do you think your baby will need something warm to keep them snug in wintery conditions?

If it's colder than expected on Christmas day, then this could mean that there is a risk of exposure if your little one isn't dressed appropriately for the chilly weather.

Be aware of what the family will be wearing for Christmas

If your in-laws are coming to visit their grandchildren, then you might want to consider what they'll all be wearing too. Especially if you're planning on taking family photos or portraits. You don't want the baby's outfit to clash or look out of place when everyone else is dressed up!

Take into consideration how much room there is in the pram and car seat

Where are you spending the festive season this year? Will you be at home or travelling to see family? If you'll be out and about, it's worth considering how much room there is in the pram or car seat. If the baby wears lots of layers and then a thick coat but needs to be strapped in, this might not work. Just decide what works for you and your travel arrangements.

Will they need extra layers?

If your little one is crawling around, you might want to consider some extra layers of clothing. Or if they’re going to spend some time outside, or if they're going on a long journey in the car, do you think it would help them if the baby had more than one layer?

What about their heads and hands?

Don't forget that your little bundle needs protecting too! This is especially true if your baby is under the age of six months. You don't want them to get cold or too hot, so think about what you might need to protect their head and hands with! Plus, accessories like hats, mittens, scarves all make great additions to any outfit

Do they have any allergies or extra sensitive skin?

If you're thinking about buying an outfit for Christmas Day, then it's worth checking whether any allergies could be irritated by the materials of the outfit. Or even just their delicate, soft skin against a rougher material. Always aim for as gentle material as possible on their sensitive skin.

Pick a colour that matches your family's holiday theme colours

If you're choosing a colour or theme for your Christmas celebrations, then you'll want to select an outfit that fits into that.  So, if you're going for a red and white theme, choosing an outfit that complements your Christmas theme will look perfect.

Be creative

There are so many different designs, fabrics, and styles of baby clothes available that it can be hard to pick just one! So why not go for something a bit different and think about how you can make the outfit your own? Or, if you're going for a baby Christmas costume, is there anything you can add to it to make it your own?

Have fun!

Above all, have a great time choosing what baby will be wearing on their first Christmas day. It will be such a special memory that will last for many years, so enjoy every second of it!
